I plan to go with my BF along with New York Christmas 2010, and I wanted to try to book a hotel room now and try to get a contract. I wanted something beautiful but not too expensive, just a short distance from all tourist attractions. Are there any sites that can be used to keep the hotel, so I can be a good business?
I book the flights, but now airlines usually only the release of their flight times 11 months in advance?

I go and ask questions on www.tripadvisor.com. You get some information on hotels and picturesque places to visit. Note that the attractions in town are so common that the best way to Subway. It's safe, fast and cheap, so you have to climb to be afraid. I think it is too early to book a hotel. I would wait until next spring / summer book. You must also know that Christmas and New Year visit to the most expensive, so that it is not likely to find an agreement.
I was in Manhattan a few weeks before Christmas and found it not very Christmas. It seems they want to embrace all religions, so it is definitely not very religious. We've all seen movies with snow on the ground and Santas and Christmas carols, we saw nothing of the thousands of people walking around.
